Day 82
Our last full day in Cape Town!! Ahhhh, crazy! It has gone so fast.
We were told to be at the office in town today so that we could be taken to the learning centre in Ruyterwacht to have a little farewell lunch meeting. Originally it was planned to be in town but it was changed to Ruyterwacht this morning.
It was nice to reflect on the 3 months with Joe,Azille and Leana in particular because they have seen us pretty much everyday for the last 3 months. But I was glad we got the opportunity to express our gratitude to everyone else and tell them how fantastic the trip has been. We sat down together for an hour or so and made our way back home after saying our goodbyes! We have the majority of people on Facebook so we will definitely keep in contact!
Joe took us home after visiting Drommedaris and for no reason at all, Jeff and I were very tired so we took a nap before tonight's events!
Jeff and I were invited by Heather and Alex to watch a softball match with them as a little goodbye however the game was cancelled when we got there due to the rain. It was a semi final too! It would of been good to watch Jonti play. Ahh well! There was still a game to watch which had survived the downpours of rain, so all was not last. However, it did start to chuck it down after a while and that was our cue to leave and get some food! Heather and Alex treated us to a Gatsby and of course Jonti immediately told us the rules of Gatsby eating. Overall it was a nice way to end our last 24 hours in Cape Town!
Being picked up by Joe at 12:00 tomorrow to make our way to the airport!
All the best

Day 81
Day 81
As time progresses, the amount of content in my blogs is decreasing as you can probably tell. Not because i've lost interest or i'm being lazy, it's simply that the programme is starting to slow down now seeing as it's our last few days!
Today's events consisted of us arriving at 12:00 and then shortly after visiting Bothasig Gardens to do some easter egg hunting activities for easter! So today was very much community development work rather than coaching which was a nice change! The kids were crazy and so eager to find the chocolate so the game that Azille made definitely worked!
After the community development work we headed to Canal Walk which is a massive mall type place, much like westfield in England! I would say it's bigger than Westfield though! Jeff and Joe went to Nando's and I got a calamari gatsby!
Tonight is Manchester United vs Bayern so i'm pretty buzzing for that. Jeff is extremely nervous and is just hoping they don't get smashed 5-0. I'm gonna pack the Majority of my stuff tonight, just so that i'm prepared and that I have no rushing around to do on Wednesday and Thursday!!

Day 80
Day 80
We had arranged that Monday would be a day spent with Joe's children Yonick and Jodie as a farewell! They have been awesome since we arrived and I would definitely say we have built a special bond with them.
We arrived at Joe's house at about 2:00 and made our decision on what film we were going to watch. We decided on Need for speed, which was a controversial decision seeing as we came to watch Hercules. However, Hercules was not on so it was either that or LEGO: THE MOVIE. I didn't mind either way, I thought Lego looked pretty fun to be honest! My kind of film.
We came out of the cinema at about 7:30 and I have to say, Need for Speed was AWESOME!! One of the best films i've seen! Proper good storyline and full of the most immense looking cars! I love fast cars and Motorsport so it was a perfect film for me!
After walking around Grand west, we saw their ice rink and felt like going skating! We went back to Joe's for a bit, sorted our hair out, changed clothes and then went back out straight away!
I was a bit nervous to be fair. But considering it was my first time skating I thought I was pretty good. Of course to start off with I was like bambi on ice but I think that's pretty natural. I progressed pretty well over time but was far from Jodie's, Jeff and Yonick's level. Different class.
Really fun day!!

Day 79.
Day 79
Today we didn't really do much.
I was awoken at about 11 with the cleaners coming into clean our room! Our plans for the day were to go to Long Street market to get some presents and just relax! In the evening we had been invited to a farewell dinner by the Festers family.
Our present buying was successful and I think I am pretty much done in terms of getting presents. They're not much but I think it's nice to share my experience with my family by getting them something small!
The dinner was a really nice send off and it was quite sad to say goodbye to Loren, Merle, Naomi and Nicola. I had a Calzone which I haven't had in years and Jeff had Carbonera! As you can tell, the restaraunt was Italian.. my favourite!!
Crazy to think I have 4 sleeps left until I depart South Africa.
