Day 58
What a way to spend my Sunday!
Joe had invited us earlier in the week to have lunch at his place which of course we accepted! Vinolia and Jodie put a fantastic spread on which was ridiculously tasty!
Joe picked us up at darling bus station at 12:45 and then we made our way to the church to pick up two other guests joe had invited. Unsure of the spelling but there names were pappi and heinrick. Pappi is a super talented keyboard player who has played with some of the best artists around. Heinrick is a pastor at the church that the Africa family attend and is an avid fan of Yonick and his soccer abilities. He has many links with clubs all over the world and is keen to get Yonick a club. Like I said, the afternoon was lovely and it was a good send off for Joey who is going to stay with pastor chuck rather than with the Joe's family. He will be missed!!
After lunch was finished I helped Jodie with all of the dishes, glasses and cutlery that had to be washed and dried. If she would have done it on her own it would of taken an hour at least, so after the Africa family giving me such a nice meal.. It was the least I could do!
A baptism was happening later at the church in the afternoon which Jeff had never experienced so he stayed and Joe kindly took me home! I was knackered.
A nice day!
I spent my evening chilling in my room watching a couple films before heading downstairs to Skype my parents!
All the best
Luke
