Day 59

Day 59

Monday.. means one thing, day off!

It was cleaning day and whilst the woman was cleaning our room, we got a call from Danielle who invited us out for lunch! How nice of her. We went to a place round the corner from the support office called cocoa express! Me and Danielle had a wrap each and jeff had some pasta. It was lovely to spend our lunchtime with Danielle and I hope she enjoyed the company of Jeff and I on her lunch break!

As bad as it sounds.. We went to Burger King! Not to eat but to watch the weekends highlights of football. Jeff and I were both very happy seeing as our teams both managed to get a win. Arsenal progressed to the semi final of the cup with 3 mediocre teams left in the competition! We SHOULD win, hopefully the 9 year trophy drought can be ended this year. The semi final is taking place when I'm in the UK so hopefully I will go to watch that at Wembley with my dad, brother, cousin, aunt an uncle! It's tradition.

The afternoon's events included lengths, lengths and more lengths. We visited the swimming pool down long street and decided to go hard on lengths. We slacked the last couple days on jogging so we needed to work hard! Swimming made us both really hungry and I visited shoprite to cater for my addiction of African fruit! They had a self service section where you can fill a tub full of salads, vegetables and fruit etc. I went straight to the fruit bit and loaded my tub up with pineapple, mango and watermelon! It was ridiculously nice and took care of my hunger and thirst. Definitely going to purchase those kind of fruits, when I'm back, more frequently.

Before we went home we visited a tourist attractions and excursions place that organise excursions such as safari's,shark cage diving, bungee jumping etc. Jeff and I both are dying to do a safari and shark cage diving. However, money permitting, we will hopefully be able to do the safari. For an overnight Safari trip it is 2,300 without transport and 3,300 with transport. Hopefully we will be able to sort transport with someone and therefore only have to pay 2,300 which is about 150 pounds. I think my parents will be receiving a phone call soon. Puppy eyes will be coming out! The main factor is whether we can sort transport. Fingers crossed we can!!!!!

This evening both Jeff and I will be chilling out. 2:00 start tomorrow, decent.

All the best

Luke
